My name is Edmond Keshishyan and I love what I do, and the product of that love is what I share with you. I capture the beauty that you have and the beauty that you are. There is certain peace and inner silence when I am doing photography no matter how hectic things get around me or how challenging. I am in the zone as soon as I press the first shutter of the day. This is peace and joy, and that’s what I am trying to convey to my audience through my photographs.
I am passionate about fine/art photography and about photography in general. I’d like to capture fleeting moments that catch my eye and move me. What would otherwise happen in one moment and be gone the next is forever captured by photography. The photographs I cherish and share tend to be the ones that show something unseen, something that occurred in the fraction of a second that I would have never even recognized if it weren’t for the magically timed click of the camera. I will not say my photographs are better or worse than the rest of the fine photographers that are out there working, but I’ll say that my photographs are different because they’ve been seen by my eyes and been perceived by my senses. They have my touch and love. For me, the successful photograph is the one that can talk to me every time I look at it. I like to capture people living their event whether it’s a wedding, engagement or just a photo shoot. I look for the beautiful in people and always find it in their faces and in their gestures. I avoid big props, staging, posing and forced smiles. I just go around and capture your event as a documentary to be cherished for a long time. My photography style is best described as un-posed and unplanned, immediate and unobtrusive. I am a successful photographer because I enjoy every second of it and of life in general. I know I deliver as a photographer because I am happy with what I do.
